Floxcis M Oral Suspension is a treatment for bacterial infections of the teeth, lungs, gastrointestinal tract, urinary tract, and genital tract in children.
Dosage Form
Oral Suspension
Introduction
Floxcis M Oral Suspension is given to children for the treatment of bacterial infections of the teeth, lungs, gastrointestinal tract, urinary tract, and genital tract. This medicine is also given as an empirical antibiotic for infected diarrhea mixed with blood and serious infections like peritonitis.
Directions for Use
Make sure your child drinks plenty of water if diarrhea occurs. Eating citrus fruit or sipping plenty of water or fruit juice may help if your child has an altered taste or furry tongue (coating of Floxcis M Oral Suspension on tongue) after taking Floxcis M Oral Suspension. Do not give any calcium, magnesium, iron, vitamin, or antacid within 2 hours of taking Floxcis M Oral Suspension as these can affect the absorption of the medicine.
How it works
Floxcis M Oral Suspension is a combination of three active ingredients. The antibiotic ingredients interfere with the genetic material of bacteria by impairing its DNA. This kills the infection-causing bacteria, preventing its growth and stopping the infection. Simethicone binds with the gas bubbles produced as a result of the other two ingredients or as a result of some other problem, aiding in the removal of gases and providing relief in stomach pain and bloating.
