Fixiriv LB Dry Syrup contains two ingredients, one antibiotic and one probiotic. Your child must complete the entire course of antibiotics. Stopping too soon may cause the bacteria to multiply again or cause another infection.

Fixiriv LB Dry Syrup is a combination of two medicines: Cefixime and Lactobacillus. Cefixime is an antibiotic that works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria in the human body. Lactobacillus is a live micro-organism that restores the balance of good bacteria in the intestine that may get upset with antibiotic use or due to intestinal infections.

Eating citrus fruit or sipping plenty of water or fruit juice may help if Fixiriv LB Dry Syrup causes a bitter taste. Encourage your child to drink plenty of water in case diarrhea develops as a side effect. Never give Fixiriv LB Dry Syrup until and unless prescribed by the doctor. Stop Fixiriv LB Dry Syrup immediately if your child develops an itchy rash, facial swelling, or breathing difficulty. Report to the doctor without any delay.
