How it works
Fillace-PTH Tablet is a combination of a muscle relaxant (Thiocolchicoside) and two pain relievers (Aceclofenac and Paracetamol). The muscle relaxant works on the centers in the brain and spinal cord to relieve muscle stiffness or spasm and improve movement of muscles. The pain relievers work by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that cause pain and inflammation.
Quick Tips
You have been prescribed Fillace-PTH Tablet to relieve pain due to muscle spasm. This medicine is most effective when taken along with proper rest and physical therapy. Avoid consuming alcohol when taking Fillace-PTH Tablet as it may cause excessive drowsiness and increase the risk of liver damage. Older adults may have increased drowsiness, confusion, and higher risk of falling as a result of taking Fillace-PTH Tablet. Do not take it with any other medicine containing acetaminophen (drugs for pain/fever or cough-and-cold) without asking your doctor first.

Frequently asked questions
Can the use of Fillace-PTH Tablet be stopped when my pain is relieved?
Fillace-PTH Tablet is typically used for short-term relief. You may stop taking it when you feel your pain has been resolved, but always consult with your healthcare professional for further guidance.
Are there any specific contraindications associated with the use of Fillace-PTH Tablet?
Fillace-PTH Tablet may not be appropriate for patients with known allergies to painkillers or components/excipients of this medicine. It is recommended to avoid using this medication in those with a history of stomach ulcers, active ulcer/bleeding, heart failure, high blood pressure, and underlying liver or kidney disease.
Can Fillace-PTH Tablet be taken with vitamin B-complex?
Yes, you can combine Fillace-PTH Tablet with vitamin B-complex preparations. While this medication helps to relieve pain, Vitamin B-complex may contribute to correcting any potential vitamin deficiencies contributing to your symptoms.
Can the use of Fillace-PTH Tablet cause damage to kidneys?
Long-term use of Fillace-PTH Tablet can potentially lead to kidney damage. The chemicals in this medication, such as paracetamol, lower levels of prostaglandins that normally protect the kidneys from harm. This prolonged effect on prostaglandins increases the risk of kidney damage.
Will Fillace-PTH Tablet be more effective if taken in higher doses?
Taking higher doses of this medication will not enhance its effectiveness but may increase potential side effects. If your symptoms are worsening, consult with your healthcare provider for an evaluation and possible dose adjustment.
Can the use of Fillace-PTH Tablet cause damage to liver?
Fillace-PTH Tablet contains paracetamol. Paracetamol is known to potentially harm the liver, especially at doses exceeding the recommended limit. Additionally, it's important to avoid alcohol consumption while taking this medication, as it can significantly increase your risk of liver complications. This medication should be used with caution in individuals with pre-existing liver conditions. If you experience any early signs and symptoms such as fever, rash, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, fatigue, stomach pain, dark urine, yellow skin or eyes, and abnormal liver enzyme readings, contact your healthcare provider immediately.
