Fibitic-AC Ear Drop is a combination of four medicines: Gentamicin, Clotrimazole, Betamethasone, and Lidocaine. It is used to treat ear infections and relieve symptoms of inflammation. It is applied to the affected ear and should be used as per the label instructions or as suggested by your doctor.
This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the ear without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside ear.

Gentamicin is an antibiotic that kills bacteria by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Clotrimazole is an antifungal that stops the growth of fungi by preventing them from forming their own protective covering. Betamethasone is a steroid medicine that blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen, and itchy. Lidocaine is a local anesthetic that blocks pain signals from the nerves to the brain thereby decreasing pain sensation.
Do not touch the tip of the dropper to prevent contamination. Stop using the medicine and inform your doctor if you notice a rash, burning sensation, or allergic reaction. Avoid swimming and make sure the infected area does not get wet while bathing. Avoid getting it in your eyes or mouth. If this happens, rinse with water immediately.
