Introduction

FEXFLU M Syrup is a combination medicine used in the treatment of allergy symptoms such as runny nose, stuffy nose, sneezing, watery eyes, and congestion or stuffiness. It contains montelukast and fexofenadine as active ingredients. Montelukast is a leukotriene antagonist that works by blocking the action of a chemical messenger called leukotriene, reducing inflammation in the airways and nose, and improving symptoms. Fexofenadine is an antiallergic that blocks the action of another chemical messenger (histamine) responsible for runny nose, watery eyes, and sneezing.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. FEXFLU M Syrup may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Fexofenadine is an antiallergic which blocks the action of another chemical messenger (histamine) responsible for runny nose, watery eyes, and sneezing.

You have been prescribed FEXFLU M Syrup to help relieve symptoms of allergy such as runny nose, sneezing, watery eyes, and cough. Be cautious while driving or doing anything that requires concentration as FEXFLU M Syrup can cause dizziness and sleepiness. Do not drink alcohol while taking FEXFLU M Syrup as it may cause increased sleepiness. Stop taking FEXFLU M Syrup at least three days before taking an allergy test as it can affect the test results.
