Ferosig tablet is a medication that contains Ferrous Ascorbate (Iron) and Folic Acid (vitamin B9), used to treat anemia and other conditions related to folate deficiency.

Introduction

Folic acid is essential for various bodily functions, including nucleotide biosynthesis and homocysteine remethylation. It is crucial during periods of rapid cell division and growth. Folic acid helps produce healthy red blood cells and prevents anemia. Iron, on the other hand, transports oxygen throughout the body and maintains red blood cells, preventing anemia and fatigue. Ferosig tablet is used to treat anemia caused by folic acid deficiency, folate deficiency due to red blood cell damage or kidney dialysis, and increased folate requirements during pregnancy.

Take Ferosig tablet orally with water, after meals, under medical supervision.
