Feronit-XT Tablet can be taken with or without food. Intake of dairy products with this medicine should be avoided. It should be used in the dose and duration as prescribed by your doctor. Some of the most common side effects of this medicine may be dark-colored stools or stomach upset. It plays a vital role in the formation of red blood cells, which carry oxygen throughout the body. It is also essential in pregnancy due to its role in the development of the unborn baby's brain and spinal cord. Zinc is a micromineral that provides nutrition.

Feronit-XT Tablet is given to improve the level of iron in the body. It is better to take Feronit-XT Tablet after a meal in order to reduce stomach discomfort. Let your doctor know if you are taking any antibiotics. Inform your doctor if you have any gastrointestinal disorders like peptic ulcers or ulcerative colitis. Iron supplements can make your stools look darker in color. This is completely harmless. Feronit-XT Tablet can cause constipation. Try to eat a well-balanced diet and drink several glasses of water each day.
