Ferikind Plus Injection is generally given by a doctor or a nurse. You will be watched carefully to make sure you do not have an allergic reaction. The dose and duration will depend on the cause and severity of your anemia. It is advisable to eat iron-rich foods such as meat, eggs, raisins, broccoli, and lentils along with taking Ferikind Plus Injection. The most common side effects include vomiting, nausea, dark-colored stools, constipation, and diarrhea. Most of these usually go away within a short time. But if you are bothered by them or if the side-effects continue, talk to your doctor.

Breastfeeding Warning

Ferikind Plus Injection is an anti-anemic medication. It replenishes the iron stores in your body. Iron is vital for the formation of new red blood cells and hemoglobin, a substance that gives these cells the ability to transport oxygen.

Your doctor has prescribed Ferikind Plus Injection to replenish your iron stores and improve symptoms of anemia. It may take a few months to see any benefits of Ferikind Plus Injection. Keep taking it as prescribed. Your stool colour may become black. This is normal and only indicates that iron is being absorbed well by your body. Avoid taking Ferikind Plus Injection with milk, coffee, antacids, or calcium supplements as they can reduce the amount of medicine absorbed.
