Felet 2.5mg Tablet is an aromatase inhibitor that helps treat breast cancer in post-menopausal women. It works by decreasing the amount of estrogen produced in the body, which can slow down or stop the growth of some breast cancers that need estrogen to grow. It may be used alone or with other treatments, such as surgery or radiation.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush, or break it. It may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

In cases where Felet 2.5mg Tablet is given after tamoxifen (another anti-estrogen used for breast cancer) or surgery, it should be taken for 5 years or until the tumor comes back, whichever occurs first. It can also be administered as a sequential treatment: 2 years of Felet 2.5mg Tablet followed by 3 years of tamoxifen.
