Short Description

Faroalfa CV Tablet is a combination medicine used to treat various types of bacterial infections. It inhibits the growth of bacteria and prevents the further spread of the infection.

Introduction

Faroalfa CV Tablet may be taken with or without food. Take it in the dose and duration as per the prescription of the doctor. Do not take more than the recommended dose as this may have harmful effects on your body. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. The course of the treatment must be completed even if you feel better. Sudden discontinuation of the treatment may affect the potency of the medicine.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Faroalfa CV Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Side Effects

Diarrhea may occur as a side effect but should stop when your course is complete. Inform your doctor if it doesn't stop or if you find blood in your stools Nausea Vomiting Rashes

Alcohol Warning

Avoid drinking alcohol as it can cause excessive drowsiness with this medicine.

Breastfeeding Warning

Faroalfa CV Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Faropenem and Clavulanic Acid. Faropenem is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria by preventing them from forming the bacterial protective covering (cell wall) which is needed for them to survive. Clavulanic Acid is a beta-lactamase inhibitor which reduces resistance and enhances the activity of Faropenem against bacteria.
