Introduction

Famomeg 40mg Tablet is a histamine H2 receptor antagonist that works by reducing the acid produced in the stomach, relieving acid-related indigestion and heartburn. It is commonly prescribed to prevent stomach ulcers and heartburn caused due to the use of painkillers. It must be swallowed whole with water before or after a meal, and taken in the dose and duration advised by the doctor.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush, or break it. Famomeg 40mg Tablet is to be taken with food.

Take it with or without food. Take other medications to treat acidity 2 hours before or after taking Famomeg 40mg Tablet. Avoid taking soft drinks and citrus fruits like orange and lemon. Inform your doctor if you do not feel better after taking Famomeg 40mg Tablet for 2 weeks. Inform your doctor if you have ever been diagnosed with kidney disease. Do not stop taking the medication without talking to your doctor.
