Introduction

Famdo 20mg Tablet is commonly prescribed to prevent stomach ulcers and heartburn caused by painkillers. It should be swallowed whole with water before or after a meal, taken in the dose and duration advised by the doctor. This medicine typically relieves indigestion and heartburn within a few hours. If symptoms persist or worsen after 14 days, consult your doctor. It is not recommended for severe stomach disease. Most people do not experience side effects, but common ones include headache, dizziness, drowsiness, diarrhea, and constipation. Consult your doctor if side effects bother you or do not go away. Inform your doctor if you have kidney or liver diseases or are taking other medications. This medicine is usually safe during pregnancy and breastfeeding if prescribed by a doctor. Interacting Medicines

Efavirenz Nevirapine Acarbose Atazanavir

Famdo 20mg Tablet is a histamine H2 receptor antagonist. It works by reducing the acid produced in the stomach, helping to relieve acid-related indigestion and heartburn.

Famdo 20mg Tablet is well tolerated with a low incidence of side effects. Take it with or without food. If taking other medications for acidity, take them 2 hours before or after Famdo 20mg Tablet. Avoid soft drinks and citrus fruits like orange and lemon. Consult your doctor if symptoms persist after 2 weeks. Inform your doctor if you have kidney disease as your dose may need adjustment. Do not stop taking the medication without consulting your doctor.
