Introduction

F & A SR Tablet is taken with or without food, but it is advised to take it at the same time each day to maintain a consistent level of medicine in the body. It has habit-forming potential, so take it in the dose and duration advised by your doctor. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. Finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Do not stop taking this medicine suddenly as it may cause nausea, anxiety, dysphoria, and agitation. Common side effects include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, confusion, and low sexual desire. It may also cause dizziness and sleepiness, so avoid driving or activities requiring mental focus until you know how it affects you. Weight changes may occur; manage weight gain with a healthy diet and exercise, and weight loss by increasing food portions and consulting a dietitian. Inform your doctor of any unusual mood changes, liver disease, or other medications you are taking. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy, or breastfeeding.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush, or break it. F & A SR Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

F & A SR Tablet is a combination of two medicines that calm the brain by decreasing abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells and increase some chemical messengers in the brain that improve mood.

F & A SR Tablet is prescribed for the treatment of depression. It can take a week or two after starting this treatment before the effect begins to build up and 4-6 weeks before you feel the full benefit. Do not stop taking it after a week or two feeling it is not helping. Do not stop taking F & A SR Tablet unless your doctor tells you to do so. Stopping treatment suddenly can cause problems and your doctor will probably want you to reduce your dose gradually when this becomes necessary. Try to keep your regular appointments with your doctor. This is so your doctor can check on your progress. Inform your doctor if you are taking any other antidepressant. Inform your doctor immediately if you get thoughts about harming yourself or ending your life. Avoid alcohol while taking F & A SR Tablet. If you have diabetes, you will be asked to monitor your blood glucose level regularly as F & A SR Tablet may affect the levels of sugar in your blood.
