How it works
Ex Derm Cream is a combination of four medicines: Beclometasone, Neomycin, Clotrimazole, and Chlorocresol, which treat skin infections. Beclometasone is a steroid medicine that blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen and itchy. Neomycin is an antibiotic that kills bacteria by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Clotrimazole is an antifungal that stops the growth of fungi by preventing them from forming their own protective covering.
Quick Tips
Wash your skin with a mild cleanser and pat it dry before applying Ex Derm Cream. Apply it as a thin layer onto clean, dry, unbroken skin affected by an infection. Avoid contact with your eyes, nose or mouth. Rinse it off with water if you accidentally get the cream in these areas. Use moisturizer regularly to overcome the skin dryness during the course of treatment. Do not touch or scratch the infected skin areas as this may worsen or spread the infection.
