Tablet
Etorox-P 90 Tablet can be taken with or without food. You should take it regularly as advised by your doctor. Your doctor may change the dose and time between doses according to your pain level and your needs. Do not take more or use it for a longer duration than recommended by your doctor. Some of the common side effects of this medicine include diarrhea, indigestion, stomach pain, flatulence, swelling of hands and feet, and flu-like symptoms.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Etorox-P 90 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Etorox-P 90 Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Etoricoxib and Paracetamol. Etoricoxib is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) and Paracetamol is an antipyretic (fever reducer). They work by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that cause pain and fever.
You have been prescribed Etorox-P 90 Tablet to get relief from pain and inflammation. You can take the tablet either with or without food, although the tablets may work more quickly if they are taken without food. During long-term treatment, your doctor may want to take regular blood tests to monitor your liver function. If you have asthma, symptoms such as wheeze or breathlessness can be made worse by Etorox-P 90 Tablet. If this happens to you, see your doctor as soon as possible.
Yes, some individuals may experience dizziness (feeling faint, weak, unsteady, or lightheaded) while taking Etorox-P 90 Tablet. If you notice these symptoms, it is advisable to rest until they subside.
Etorox-P 90 Tablet is not suitable for patients with known allergies to NSAIDs or any component of this medication. It's also recommended to avoid use in individuals with a history of stomach ulcers, active or recurrent gastric ulcer/bleeding, heart failure, high blood pressure, or kidney or liver disease.
Long-term use of Etorox-P 90 Tablet may increase the risk of kidney damage. This is because it can lower levels of prostaglandins, which protect kidneys from damage. It's essential to avoid this medication for individuals with pre-existing kidney disease.
Higher doses of Etorox-P 90 Tablet will not enhance its efficacy. If symptoms worsen, please consult your doctor for appropriate re-evaluation.
Paracetamol, a component in Etorox-P 90 Tablet, can be harmful to the liver. Exceeding the recommended dosage further elevates this risk. It's advisable to abstain from alcohol consumption while taking this medication and avoid excessive use of this medication in individuals with existing liver diseases. If you experience any early signs of liver damage, such as fever, rash, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, fatigue, stomach pain, dark urine, yellowing of skin or eyes, and abnormal liver enzymes, contact your doctor immediately.
Keep this medication in its original container, tightly sealed. Store it based on the instructions provided on the packaging label. If unused medicine remains, ensure that it is not consumed by pets, children, or other individuals.
