Frequently asked questions
Can I stop taking Etorixob-MR Tablet when my pain is relieved?
Etorixob-MR Tablet should be continued for as long as prescribed by your physician, even if pain relief occurs. Discontinuation can only be done after consulting your doctor, especially when taking it for short-term pain relief.
Can the use of Etorixob-MR Tablet cause dizziness?
Dizziness (feeling faint, weak, unsteady or lightheaded) can occur in some patients using Etorixob-MR Tablet. If experiencing these symptoms, it is advised to rest and resume medication only when feeling better.
Are there any specific contraindications associated with the use of Etorixob-MR Tablet?
Etorixob-MR Tablet is harmful for patients with known allergy to painkillers (NSAIDs) or components/excipients of this medicine. It should be avoided in patients with a history of stomach ulcers, active or recurrent stomach ulcer/bleeding. Avoid use in individuals with a history of heart failure, high blood pressure and liver/kidney disease.
Can I take Etorixob-MR Tablet with Vitamin B-complex?
Etorixob-MR Tablet can be taken alongside Vitamin B-complex preparations. While Etorixob-MR helps with pain relief, Vitamin B-complex assists in addressing vitamin deficiencies that may be contributing to your symptoms.
Can the use of Etorixob-MR Tablet cause damage to kidneys?
Long-term use of Etorixob-MR Tablet can lead to kidney damage. Prostaglandins protect kidneys from damage, and painkillers decrease their levels. Use of painkillers is not recommended for those with pre-existing kidney conditions.
