Etizest 1 Tablet may be taken with or without food. However, take it at the same time each day as this helps to maintain a consistent level of medicine in the body. Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor as it has a high potential of habit-forming. If you have missed any doses, take it as soon as you remember it and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. You should not stop this medication without talking to your doctor as it may cause nausea and anxiety.

Sudden cessation of Etizest 1 Tablet may result in withdrawal symptoms such as anxiety, insomnia, headaches, dizziness, tinnitus (ringing in the ears), eating disorders, nausea, vomiting, tremor, weakness, excessive sweating, irritability, heightened sensory perception (visual and auditory sensitivity) Stopping abruptly may also cause palpitations, a rapid heart rate, and postural hypotension (a drop in blood pressure upon standing). In rare cases of severe withdrawal from high doses, individuals may experience seizures, mental health disturbances such as psychosis, agitation, confusion, and hallucinations.
Etizest 1 Tablet oral dosage typically begins working within 30-60 minutes, with peak effects occurring around 3-4 hours after administration. The medication remains in the body for 6-8 hours, although higher doses might persist longer.
Similar to benzodiazepines, Etizest 1 Tablet induces muscle relaxation. However, it's primarily utilized for the treatment of anxiety disorders.
Like other benzodiazepines, Etizest 1 Tablet can cause drowsiness. It generally increases total sleep time and reduces REM sleep percentage (the period when your eyes rapidly move in different directions). However, it doesn't affect the latency (time to fall asleep).
