Acenocoumarol Albendazole Clomiphene Danazol
Estravian 2mg Tablet contains a medication called estrogen (female sex hormone). It works by replacing estrogen that is normally produced by the body. In women who are undergoing or have attained menopause, it prevents symptoms such as hot flushes, vaginal burning, dryness, and itching caused due to lack of estrogen.
Take it at the same time every day to help you remember to take it. Inform your doctor if you experience any unusual vaginal bleeding or spotting. It may also be used for preventing osteoporosis in postmenopausal women who are at high risk of fractures.
Estravian 2mg Tablet contains estradiol, which is an estrogen hormone. It helps treat symptoms of low estrogen levels, such as hot flashes (reddening and warmth in the face) and vaginal dryness in women. It's also prescribed to prevent osteoporosis (weakening of bones) in postmenopausal women who are at high risk for fractures and have limited treatment options.
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible. If the missed dose was greater than 12 hours late, do not take the missed dose and continue your usual dosing schedule.
Common side effects associated with Estravian 2mg Tablet include lower abdominal pain, period pain, breast tenderness, endometrial hyperplasia (thickening of the uterine lining), and vaginal discharge. Most of these symptoms are temporary. However, if they persist, consult your doctor immediately.
Treatment for estrogen deficiency depends on the underlying cause. Your doctor may prescribe various medications based on your age and clinical condition. The chosen medication will also depend if you're deficient in estrogen or have high progesterone levels.
Estravian 2mg Tablet should not be taken by patients with unusual vaginal bleeding, liver problems, or bleeding disorders. Additionally, avoid the medication if you're pregnant or allergic to Estravian 2mg Tablet. Individuals who have a history of uterus or breast cancer, suffered from stroke or heart attack, or currently have or had blood clots should also refrain from this medication.
Estravian 2mg Tablet may cause either weight gain or weight loss. This is a common side effect of the medication, but regular exercise and a healthy diet can help prevent weight gain. If you notice significant weight gain that concerns you, consult your doctor.
Estravian 2mg Tablets should be taken exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Swallow the tablets whole with water. You can take them at any time of day but make sure to take them at the same time each day.
