Estrasure 2mg Tablet is a hormone replacement therapy (HRT) that is used to relieve symptoms of menopause. It is a type of estrogen replacement therapy that is used to treat symptoms such as hot flushes, vaginal dryness, and itching. The dose and duration will be decided by your doctor so that you get the right amount to control your symptoms.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Estrasure 2mg Tablet may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Estrasure 2mg Tablet contains a medication called estrogen (female sex hormone). It works by replacing estrogen that is normally produced by the body. In women who are undergoing or have attained menopause, it prevents symptoms such as hot flushes, vaginal burning, dryness, and itching caused due to lack of estrogen.
Take it at the same time everyday to help you remember to take it. Inform your doctor if you experience any unusual vaginal bleeding or spotting It may increase the risk of breast cancer. Have regular breast examinations. Stop taking this medicine and inform your doctor immediately if you notice unexplained swelling and pain in your limbs, shortness of breath, chest pain, or changes in vision.

If you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible. If the dose was missed by more than 12 hours, do not take the missed dose and continue with your usual dosing schedule.
Common side effects associated with Estrasure 2mg Tablet include lower abdominal pain, period pain, breast tenderness, endometrial hyperplasia, and vaginal discharge. Most of these symptoms are temporary, but if they persist, consult your doctor as soon as possible.

Estrasure 2mg Tablet should not be taken by patients with unusual vaginal bleeding, liver problems, or bleeding disorders. It is also contraindicated in pregnant women, those allergic to the medication, and individuals with a history of uterus or breast cancer, stroke, heart attack, or blood clots.
Estrasure 2mg Tablet may cause either weight gain or weight loss. This is a common side effect. Regular exercise and a healthy, nutritious diet can help prevent weight gain. If you notice weight gain and it concerns you, consult your doctor.
Estrasure 2mg Tablet tablets should be taken exactly as advised by your doctor. Swallow the tablets whole with water. You can take it at any time of the day, but take it at the same time each day.
