Escipil 10mg Tablet is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) antidepressant used to treat depression, anxiety, panic disorder, and obsessive-compulsive disorder.

Escipil 10mg Tablet helps recover from depression by improving mood and relieving anxiety and tension. It can be taken with or without food. The dose and how often you need it will be decided by your doctor based on the amount needed to control your symptoms.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush, or break it. Escipil 10mg Tablet may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Escipil 10mg Tablet.
Escipil 10mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
Escipil 10mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby.

Escipil 10mg Tablet is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) antidepressant. It works by increasing the levels of serotonin, a chemical messenger in the brain. This improves mood and physical symptoms of depression and also relieves symptoms of anxiety, panic attacks, and obsessive-compulsive disorders.
Take it in the morning since it can keep you awake if taken late at night. Talk to your doctor if you notice sudden mood changes or develop suicidal thoughts. It has a lower chance of causing sexual dysfunction than other similar medications. Do not stop taking the medication suddenly without talking to your doctor first. Some people can develop dizziness or drowsiness after taking this medicine. Do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you
It typically takes around 2-4 weeks before you start experiencing improvements, although full benefits may take a little longer. Always consult your doctor if you don't feel any better after taking the medication or if symptoms worsen despite taking it.

Using Escipil 10mg Tablet in children, adolescents, and young adults may increase the risk of suicidal thoughts. Always discuss potential risks and benefits with your doctor before taking this medication. Additionally, children under 12 years old should not take Escipil 10mg Tablet.
It's generally recommended to take Escipil 10mg Tablet once a day in the morning, as it may keep you awake if taken late at night. You can either take it with or without food. It’s best to stick to the same time each day for better memory of your routine.
Abruptly stopping Escipil 10mg Tablet may lead to withdrawal symptoms like dizziness, sleep disturbances (vivid dreams and nightmares), difficulty sleeping, anxiety, headaches, burning sensations, and electric shock sensations. It's important to consult your doctor before stopping it as they can gradually reduce the dosage.
Possible withdrawal symptoms include dizziness, changes in sleep patterns like vivid dreams, nightmares, and insomnia, anxiety, headaches. Burning sensations in your body may also be experienced. Other possible side effects include nausea, sweating (including night sweats), restlessness or agitation, tremors, confusion, irritability, diarrhea, visual disturbances, and palpitations.
If you accidentally take a higher dose than recommended, seek immediate medical attention. Symptoms of overdose include dizziness, tremors, agitation, convulsions, nausea, and vomiting. You may also experience changes in heart rhythm, low blood pressure, changes in fluid/salt balance.
