Era-H Tablet is a Disease Modifying Anti-Rheumatoid Drug (DMARD) that works by suppressing the overactivity of the immune system that causes inflammation (swelling) and pain in the joints. It is also used to improve glycemic control in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. It is available in the form of a tablet and should be taken with food.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Era-H Tablet is to be taken with food.

Era-H Tablet is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.
Era-H Tablet is safe to use during pregnancy. Most studies have shown low or no risk to the developing baby.

This slows the progression of the underlying disease. It has also been suggested that hydroxychloroquine may increase insulin sensitivity and improve beta-cell function thereby improving glycemic control in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus.
Take it with food to avoid an upset stomach. Do not take medicines that neutralise stomach acids (antacids) four hours before and after taking Era-H Tablet as they can stop the medicine from being absorbed properly from your gut. Have regular eye tests done while taking this medicine. Stop taking it and inform your doctor immediately if you notice any changes in your vision.
