Epofit 5000IU Injection is an erythropoiesis-stimulating agent (ESA) that works by stimulating the bone marrow to produce more red blood cells. It is used to treat anemia caused by kidney disease, cancer chemotherapy, and HIV. It is given as a single injection under your skin.

Monitor your blood pressure regularly while taking this medication. Inform your doctor if you notice symptoms of very high blood pressure such as severe headache, problems with your eyesight, nausea, vomiting, or fits (seizures). Stop taking Epofit 5000IU Injection and inform your doctor if you develop shortness of breath or skin rash.
Epofit 5000IU Injection pre-filled syringes should be stored in a refrigerator between 2 and 8 °C, unopened. At home, the syringe should be kept refrigerated. Do not freeze the pre-filled syringe. Allow the syringe to reach room temperature before use. This generally takes 15 to 30 minutes. Epofit 5000IU Injection pre-filled syringes used or about to be used may be stored at room temperature (not above 25 °C) for a maximum single period of 7 days. Keep these pre-filled syringes away from children and protected from light.
Tell your doctor or nurse immediately if you think you may have injected too much of Epofit 5000IU Injection.
Epofit 5000IU Injection should not be used if: 1. The solution is cloudy, with particles floating, or if the medicine has expired. 2. If there's any suspicion of accidental freezing, or if there was a refrigerator failure.

Yes, Epofit 5000IU Injection can affect blood pressure. Blood pressure should be monitored during initial therapy with Epofit 5000IU Injection. If there are high blood pressure concerns, you and your doctor must take appropriate measures to control it. Your doctor may stop using Epofit 5000IU Injection if blood pressure remains uncontrolled.
