Encin OZ Syrup is an antibiotic medicine that is given to children to effectively treat a wide range of bacterial infections that may occur in the teeth, lungs, gastrointestinal infections, urinary and genital tract. It is a syrup form of medicine that contains ofloxacin and ornidazole as its active ingredients. Both these ingredients tamper the bacteria's DNA, killing the infection-causing bacteria and stopping the infection from growing further without making them resistant to further treatment.
Encin OZ Syrup should only be given to your child for their current infection. Never save medicine for future illnesses. It is important to follow the dosage instructions provided by your doctor and to complete the full course of treatment.
Diarrhea Altered taste or furry tongue (coating of Encin OZ Syrup on tongue) Dizziness and sleepiness
Avoid consuming alcohol when taking Encin OZ Syrup as it may irritate your stomach and also cause excessive drowsiness.

Encourage your child to drink plenty of water in case of diarrhea Eating citrus fruit or sipping plenty of water or fruit juice may help with altered taste or furry tongue Do not give any calcium, magnesium, iron, vitamin, or antacid within 2 hours of taking Encin OZ Syrup Quit giving Encin OZ Syrup and speak to the doctor immediately if your child develops a rash, itchy skin, swelling of face and mouth, or has difficulty in breathing
