Emsyl TM 500 mg/250 mg Tablet is a combination medicine used to treat heavy menstrual bleeding and menstrual pain. It prevents the breakdown of blood clots to control excessive bleeding during periods. It also blocks the production of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation. The most common side effects of this medicine include nausea, stomach pain, headache, nasal congestion, sinus pain, sinus inflammation, rash, tiredness, and musculoskeletal pain. It may also cause diarrhea, so it is better to take plenty of fluids while taking this medicine to prevent dehydration. Consult your doctor if you do not notice any changes in periods after 3 consecutive periods. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should also consult their doctor for advice before taking this medicine. Avoid alcohol while taking this medicine.
