Emergan 1mg Injection is an antiemetic medication used to prevent nausea and vomiting caused after surgery or due to chemotherapy and radiotherapy. It is administered under the supervision of a healthcare professional and should be taken as advised by the doctor. The most common side effects of taking this medicine include injection site pain or reaction, headache, constipation, diarrhea, and weakness.
Your doctor or nurse will give you this medicine. Kindly do not self-administer.
Emergan 1mg Injection is an antiemetic medication that works by blocking the action of a chemical messenger (serotonin) in the brain that may cause nausea and vomiting during anti-cancer treatment (chemotherapy) or after surgery.
You have been prescribed Emergan 1mg Injection for prevention of nausea and vomiting caused after surgery or due to chemotherapy and radiotherapy. Emergan 1mg Injection is given as an injection under the supervision of a doctor. If you vomit within one hour of taking a dose, take another dose. Take small nourishing snacks throughout the day and sip water regularly to help avoid dehydration.
