Introduction

Elosone TF Ointment should be used regularly to get the most benefit from it. Do not use more than you needed as it will not clear your condition faster and may only increase the side effects. Skin infections will usually get better after 2 to 6 weeks. Do not use the medicine for longer than your doctor has told you to and let him or her know if your condition does not improve after 2 to 6 weeks of treatment. The effects of medicine can be increased by keeping the affected area clean and dry and washing hands before and after treating the infection.

This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Clean and dry the affected area and gently massage the ointment.

Elosone TF Ointment is a combination of two medicines: Mometasone and Terbinafine. Mometasone is a steroid medicine that blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen, and itchy. Terbinafine is an antifungal that stops the growth of fungi by preventing them from forming their own protective covering.
