Eibs Tablet is taken without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early your symptoms may come back and your condition may worsen. Let your healthcare team know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect, or be affected by this medicine. The most common side effects are nausea, constipation, nervousness, dryness in mouth, difficulty in urination, confusion, weakness, blurred vision, and coordination impaired. Most of these are temporary and usually resolve with time. Contact your doctor straight away if you are at all concerned about any of these side effects. It may also cause dizziness and sleepiness, so do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you. Avoid drinking alcohol while taking this medicine as it can worsen your sleepiness. Lifestyle modifications like having a fiber-rich diet, avoiding foods that trigger your symptoms, increasing fluid intake, and regular exercise can help you to get better results. Before taking it, you should tell your doctor if you have any kidney or liver diseases. You should also tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy, or breastfeeding.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush, or break it. Eibs Tablet is to be taken on an empty stomach.
Eibs Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Clidinium, Chlordiazepoxide, and Dicyclomine. Clidinium and Dicyclomine are antispasmodics which work by relaxing the muscles in your stomach and gut (intestine). They stop sudden muscle contractions (spasms), relieving cramps, pain, bloating, and discomfort. Chlordiazepoxide is a benzodiazepine that works by increasing the action of GABA, a chemical messenger which suppresses the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in the brain.
Eibs Tablet is prescribed to give relief from the symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome. If you are due to have an operation or any dental treatment, please tell the doctor carrying out the treatment that you are taking Eibs Tablet. This is because Eibs Tablet increases the effects of some anesthetics. Inform your doctor if you have an enlarged prostate gland, glaucoma, or trouble passing urine. If you are 65 or older, use Eibs Tablet with care. You could have more side effects. If you develop any new symptoms, or if your symptoms get worse, make an appointment to see your doctor for further advice.
