Introduction

Eficef Dry Syrup is a combination of two active medicines, Cefpodoxime Proxetil and Clavulanic Acid. It is given to children to treat a wide range of severe bacterial infections. It works by inhibiting the growth of bacteria, thereby preventing the infection spread.

Eficef Dry Syrup may cause a bitter taste. Eating citrus fruit or sipping plenty of water or fruit juice may help. Encourage your child to drink plenty of water in case diarrhea develops as a side effect. Never give Eficef Dry Syrup until and unless prescribed by the doctor.

Stop Eficef Dry Syrup immediately if your child develops an itchy rash, facial swelling, or breathing difficulty. Report to the doctor without any delay.
