Before administering the drops, have your child gently blow their nose to clear any mucus. Then, ask them to lie down and look up. Tilt their head back as far as comfortably possible or, if lying on a bed, keep their head over the side. Open the cap of the medicine container and carefully apply one drop into each nostril without touching the nozzle to the nose. Have your child hold their head tilted back for a short time to allow the drops to spread throughout the nasal passage. Replace the cap after use. If the drop misses the nose, administer it again. If any part of the drop enters the nose, do not re-administer. Repeat for the other nostril. Clean and dry the nozzle before replacing the cap. To prevent infection, ensure only one person uses the bottle.
