Ecitane 2mg Tablet should be taken on an empty stomach to reduce side effects. It is important to take it at the same time each day to maintain consistent levels in the body. Follow your doctor's dosage instructions and do not skip doses. Common side effects include nausea, vomiting, constipation, blurred vision, dizziness, and sleepiness. Dry mouth and dry eyes may also occur. Inform your doctor if you have glaucoma or trouble passing urine. Consult your doctor if you have heart problems, liver or kidney disease, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush, or break it. Ecitane 2mg Tablet is to be taken on an empty stomach.
Ecitane 2mg Tablet is an anticholinergic medication. It works by decreasing the activity of a chemical messenger (acetylcholine) in the brain, improving muscle control and reducing stiffness in Parkinson's disease. It also improves movement disorders caused by certain other medicines.
Dry mouth may occur as a side effect. Frequent mouth rinses, good oral hygiene, increased water intake, and sugarless candy may help. It may cause dry eyes. Avoid wearing contact lenses and inform your doctor if it bothers you. It may cause dizziness and sleepiness. Do not drive or do anything requiring concentration until you know how it affects you. Monitoring of intraocular pressure is required while taking this medicine, as an increase in eye pressure may cause blurry vision. Inform your doctor if you suffer from glaucoma or if you have trouble passing urine.
