Ebermed 1% Cream belongs to a group of medicines called antifungals. It works by stopping the growth of fungus and is used to treat skin infections including infections of the fingernails and toenails. It kills fungi by destroying the fungal cell membrane.
This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Clean and dry the affected area and apply the cream. Wash your hands after applying unless hands are the affected area.
Ebermed 1% Cream is an antifungal medication. It kills and stops the growth of the fungi by destroying its cell membrane thereby treating your skin infection.
Ebermed 1% Cream helps treat skin infections caused by many different types of fungi. Finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. It can take a few weeks for the infection to clear and a few months before the skin returns to its normal color. Apply an amount sufficient to cover the affected area and 1 inch of the immediate surrounding skin. Avoid getting it in the eyes, nose, or mouth.
Before applying Ebermed 1% Cream, clean and dry the affected area thoroughly. Gently massage it into the skin using a circular motion. Avoid getting the medication in your eyes or mouth. If Ebermed 1% Cream gets into your eyes accidentally, rinse them with plenty of water and seek medical attention if they remain irritated.
You must complete the course of treatment even if the irritation has subsided. Ebermed 1% Cream is an antifungal medication used to treat fungal infections on the skin. Fungal infections of the skin involve fungus residing in deeper layers of skin. Even if the medication clears symptoms within a few days, the infection may remain present in these layers. You might need to continue applying this cream for 4-6 weeks.
Ebermed 1% Cream is prescribed for superficial fungal infections. It is not always sufficient, as sometimes these infections require oral antifungal therapy in addition to topical treatment. Your doctor will determine whether your case needs only Ebermed 1% Cream or a combination of this cream and oral medication based on the severity and location of the fungal infection.

Bathe daily, trim your nails regularly, avoid using others' towels, dry the infected area thoroughly and use clean cotton undergarments. Avoid wearing tight-fitting clothing. Always adhere to the prescribed course of treatment provided by your doctor and refrain from applying creams containing steroids.
