Introduction
The EASYCARE German Tech EC9270 Aneroid Sphygmomanometer is a versatile device designed to measure blood pressure levels accurately at home. It features a clinical accuracy of ± 3mmHg and a certified 300 mmHg non-stop pin manometer. The device is equipped with a latex-free cuff for a comfortable fit, a chrome-plated brass air release valve to prevent corrosion, and a durable inflation bulb. It also includes a stethoscope to listen to arterial blood flow sounds. The sphygmomanometer is designed for both left and right-handed individuals, making it easy to use for everyone.
Directions for Use
Fasten the cuff around the bare upper arm. Close the valve on the rubber bulb by turning the screw to the right. Feel for a pulse just below the cuff inside the elbow. Put the stethoscope on the elbow and the ear plug on your ears to hear the pulse. Pump the cuff up by squeezing the bulb. Take the needle up to 200 by pumping the rubber bulb. Start releasing the pressure by opening the valve screw. As the needle comes down, listen for the heartbeat sound on the stethoscope.
How it works
The device measures blood pressure by inflating a cuff around the upper arm and using a stethoscope to listen to arterial blood flow sounds. The pressure is gradually released, and the readings are taken based on the sounds heard through the stethoscope.
Quick Tips
Keep at least a 1-minute gap between readings when taking multiple measurements.
