E Neuron 1500mcg Injection is a form of vitamin B12 that restores its level in the body thereby helping in treating certain anemias and nerve problems.
E Neuron 1500mcg Injection is a form of vitamin B12, an essential nutrient that plays a crucial role in the production of red blood cells, maintaining a healthy nervous system, and releasing energy from food. It is also important for the proper functioning of vitamin B11 (folic acid).
Vitamin B12 is primarily found in animal-based foods such as meat, fish, eggs, and dairy products. Vegetarians and vegans may be at a higher risk of deficiency as it is not naturally present in plant-based foods like fruits, vegetables, and grains.
Vitamin B12 deficiency can cause a range of symptoms, including fatigue, weakness, constipation, loss of appetite, weight loss, and megaloblastic anemia (a condition characterized by abnormally large red blood cells). It may also lead to nerve problems, such as numbness and tingling in the hands and feet, as well as other symptoms like balance issues, depression, confusion, dementia, poor memory, and soreness of the mouth or tongue.
E Neuron 1500mcg Injection is generally well-tolerated and considered safe. However, rare side effects may occur, including nausea, diarrhea, anorexia, and rash. If a rash develops, discontinue use of the medication immediately and consult a healthcare professional.
E Neuron 1500mcg Injection can be administered intravenously or intramuscularly. The typical dose is 1 ampoule (0.5 mg of E Neuron 1500mcg Injection) given three times a week for the first two months. After this period, the dose is reduced to 1 ampoule (0.5 mg of E Neuron 1500mcg Injection) every one to three months as part of maintenance therapy.
To avoid discomfort or complications, it is essential to rotate the injection site with each administration. If intense pain occurs during injection or if blood flows back into the syringe, remove the needle and re-insert it at a different site.
