E 2 Gel is a type of hormone replacement therapy (HRT) used to relieve symptoms of menopause, including hot flushes, vaginal dryness, and itching. It may also be used to prevent osteoporosis in postmenopausal women who are at high risk of fractures. The dose and duration will be decided by your doctor to control your symptoms. If you have missed a dose, take it as soon as you remember it. Do not skip any dose and finish the full course of treatment.
This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Clean and dry the affected area and apply the gel. Wash your hands after applying.

E 2 Gel is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy. Seek your doctor's advice as studies on pregnant women and animals have shown significant harmful effects to the developing baby.

You have been prescribed E 2 Gel as a part of hormone replacement therapy to relieve symptoms of menopause. It may also be used for preventing osteoporosis in postmenopausal women who are at high risk of fractures. Take it at the same time everyday to help you remember to take it. Inform your doctor if you experience any unusual vaginal bleeding or spotting, abnormal vaginal discharge or vaginal discomfort while taking E 2 Gel.
