Introduction

Dysceff LB Dry Syrup is a combination of two medicines: Cefixime and Lactobacillus. Cefixime is an antibiotic that works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria in the human body. Lactobacillus is a live micro-organism that restores the balance of good bacteria in the intestine that may get upset with antibiotic use or due to intestinal infections. Give Dysceff LB Dry Syrup to your child with or without meals. Though the risk of developing a stomach upset is less with this medicine, giving it with meals will further reduce the risk. The dose and duration depend upon the type and severity of the infection, so stick to the dose, time, and way prescribed by the doctor.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Dissolve the powder in sterile water. Shake well and use. Dysceff LB Dry Syrup may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Never give Dysceff LB Dry Syrup until and unless prescribed by the doctor. You must also never share your child's medicine with anyone else even if they show similar symptoms. Stop Dysceff LB Dry Syrup immediately if your child develops an itchy rash, facial swelling, or breathing difficulty. Report to the doctor without any delay.
