Dutaszen 0.5mg Tablet is used to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia by shrinking the size of the enlarged prostate gland to relieve symptoms like pain and difficulty in passing urine. It may take 3 to 6 months to see the full beneficial effect of Dutaszen 0.5mg Tablet. Hence, continue taking the medicine as advised by your doctor.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Dutaszen 0.5mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

It may take 3 to 6 months to see the full beneficial effect of Dutaszen 0.5mg Tablet. Hence, continue taking the medicine as advised by your doctor. Dutaszen 0.5mg Tablet is usually well tolerated. However, it may produce some mild sexual side effects such as low sexual drive. Do not donate blood for 6 months after taking the last dose of Dutaszen 0.5mg Tablet.
