Introduction

Dutaph S 8mg/0.5mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines, Silodosin and Dutasteride, that work together to relieve symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) such as difficulty urinating or frequent urination. It is not intended to prevent prostate cancer. The medication may cause side effects like dizziness, blurred vision, and sexual dysfunction. It is important to follow the prescribed dosage and consult a doctor for any concerns, especially if undergoing eye surgery or experiencing severe side effects.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it whole without chewing, crushing, or breaking it. Dutaph S 8mg/0.5mg Tablet should be taken with food, approximately 30 minutes after the same meal each day.

Dutaph S 8mg/0.5mg Tablet is a combination of Silodosin, an alpha-blocker that relaxes the muscle around the bladder exit and prostate gland to allow easy passage of urine, and Dutasteride, a 5-alpha-reductase inhibitor that helps shrink the prostate gland by decreasing the hormone levels that cause prostate growth.

You have been prescribed Dutaph S 8mg/0.5mg Tablet to relieve the symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Take it approximately 30 minutes after the same meal each day. Dutaph S 8mg/0.5mg Tablet may cause dizziness or blurring of vision. Do not drive or do anything requiring concentration until you know how it affects you. To lower the chance of feeling dizzy or passing out, rise slowly if you have been sitting or lying down. If you are scheduled to undergo eye surgery due to cataract or glaucoma, inform your eye doctor about the usage of Dutaph S 8mg/0.5mg Tablet. It may cause difficulty achieving or maintaining an erection (impotence), decreased sex drive, and ejaculation disorders such as decreased amount of semen produced or decreased sperm count. Do not donate blood for 6 months after taking the last dose of Dutaph S 8mg/0.5mg Tablet.
