Introduction

Dutacet 0.5mg Tablet is a 5-alpha reductase inhibitor that blocks an enzyme necessary to change testosterone to another hormone that causes the prostate to grow. It helps to shrink the prostate and relieve symptoms like difficulty in passing urine.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. It may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

However it may produce some mild sexual side effects such as low sexual drive. Do not donate blood for 6 months after taking the last dose of Dutacet 0.5mg Tablet.
