Short Description

Duphaston 10mg Tablet is used to treat various conditions caused by progesterone deficiencies such as female infertility, pain during menstruation, premenstrual syndrome (PMS), endometriosis, abnormal uterine bleeding, and miscarriage.

Introduction

Duphaston 10mg Tablet will be prescribed to you depending on the condition you are being treated for. Do not self-medicate. The dose and duration of the treatment will be decided by your doctor after some investigations like blood tests, ultrasonography, etc. Always take the medicine at the same time every day to avoid missing a dose. Swallow it whole, without breaking or chewing, preferably with a glass of water. Continue taking it for the duration advised by your doctor to get the most benefits.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Duphaston 10mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Alcohol Warning

It is not known whether it is safe to consume alcohol with Duphaston 10mg Tablet. Please consult your doctor.

Breastfeeding Warning

Duphaston 10mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.

Pregnancy Warning

Duphaston 10mg Tablet is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.

Inform your doctor immediately if it carries on for more than a few months. Before starting treatment with Duphaston 10mg Tablet, inform your doctor if you have any scheduled surgery. Inform your doctor if you are lactose intolerant since Duphaston 10mg Tablet contains lactose. Let your doctor know if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
