Introduction

Duoclin-B Gel should be used as advised by your doctor. It is for external use only. Wash your hands before using this medicine and apply only on the affected areas of the skin. Common side effects include skin peeling, redness, dry skin, and burning sensation at the application site. If these side effects persist, inform your doctor. In case of accidental contact with eyes, ears, nose, or mouth, rinse immediately with water. Inform your doctor if you notice darkening or discoloration, or severe burning sensation at the treated skin. If you have known allergies to this medicine, or if you are pregnant or suffering from any other condition, please inform your doctor. This medicine is safe to use in breastfeeding mothers.

This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Clean and dry the affected area and apply the gel. Wash your hands after applying, unless hands are the affected area.

Duoclin-B Gel is a combination of Benzoyl Peroxide and Clindamycin. It treats pimples (acne) by penetrating into the skin and killing acne-causing bacteria. Benzoyl Peroxide additionally reduces oil production in the skin, replenishes the skin, and helps keep your pores open.

You have been prescribed Duoclin-B Gel for the treatment of acne. Use a mild soap and lukewarm water to wash with, as very hot or cold water may worsen acne. Do not wash more than you normally do. Apply a thin layer on the affected area. It may cause minor burning, stinging, or irritation when applied. Inform your doctor if this does not go away. Avoid contact with your eyes, nose, or mouth. Rinse it off with water if you accidentally get the cream in these areas. During your treatment, your doctor may ask you to use another (non-antibiotic) skin preparation from time to time to help prevent your acne from becoming resistant to treatment. You may have to use it for a long time before your acne starts to improve. Be patient and keep using it every day. If your skin has not improved even after completing the prescribed time, consult your doctor.
