Dulotin 10 Tablet is used in the treatment of depression, anxiety disorder, diabetic nerve pain, fibromyalgia (a condition in which there are generalized pain and tenderness in the body), neuropathic pain, and stress urinary incontinence.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Dulotin 10 Tablet may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Dulotin 10 Tablet works by increasing the levels of chemical messengers (serotonin and noradrenaline) natural substances in the brain that help maintain mental balance and stop the movement of pain signals in the brain.
Dulotin 10 Tablet helps in treating depression and anxiety. It may also be used to treat nerve pain from diabetes and some other forms of chronic pain. It may take 2 to 4 weeks for Dulotin 10 Tablet to start working. Keep taking it as prescribed. It may cause dizziness and sleepiness. If you do not notice any improvement after this time, consult your doctor for further guidance. For individuals with diabetic neuropathic pain, it may take a few weeks to feel better. If you do not experience relief after 2 months, consult your doctor for further guidance.
No, it is not recommended to stop taking Dulotin 10 Tablet suddenly without consulting your doctor. If you have been experiencing relief from depression and anxiety for 6 months or more, your doctor may gradually reduce your dosage. For pain and incontinence, it is recommended to continue taking Dulotin 10 Tablet for the long term. Your doctor will regularly monitor your response to the medication.

If you stop taking Dulotin 10 Tablet abruptly, you may experience dizziness, fatigue, agitation, restlessness, anxiety, and irritability. You may also experience sleep disturbances (vivid dreams, nightmares, insomnia), nausea, vomiting, shaking, muscle pain, diarrhea, a piercing sensation (pins and needles) especially in the head, and excessive sweating or vertigo.
