Take this medicine as directed by your healthcare professional. It is essential to take it at the same time each day to maintain a consistent level of medication in your system.
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible, even taking two tablets at once. Follow the usual dosage schedule. However, if you miss multiple doses, you may not be fully protected against pregnancy. In this case, restart the medication as soon as possible and consider using non-hormonal contraception such as condoms for at least seven days. If this continues, consult your doctor.
If you experience vomiting within three to four hours of taking the medication, it is considered a missed dose. Take another dose immediately when feeling well enough.
Potential side effects include irregular vaginal bleeding, headache, nausea (feeling sick), and breast pain. Most of these side effects are temporary; however, consult your doctor if they persist.
