Droniva Kit is a combination of three medicines used to treat osteoporosis, preventing bone loss and making bones stronger to reduce the risk of bone fractures.

Introduction

Droniva Kit is best taken in an empty stomach. You should take it regularly at a fixed time each day. Taking it at the same time every day will help you remember to take it. It may take several days to get the full benefit of this drug. Do not stop taking the medicine until your doctor tells you it is alright to stop. This medicine may only be part of a treatment program that may also include changes to your diet and taking other medicines and vitamin supplements.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Droniva Kit is to be taken empty stomach.

Droniva Kit is a combination of two medicines: Ibandronic Acid, Calcium, Vitamin D3 and Zinc which treat osteoporosis. Ibandronic Acid is a bisphosphonate. It works by suppressing the activity of osteoclasts cells that cause destruction of bone. This strengthens the bone and minimizes the risk of fractures. Calcium helps build and maintain bones, while Vitamin D3 helps your body effectively absorb Calcium. Vitamin D3 additionally supports the muscles needed to avoid falls. Zinc helps increase bone mass.

Droniva Kit is prescribed for the treatment of osteoporosis. Drink plenty of water while taking it. For at least 30 minutes after taking Droniva Kit: Do not lie down or recline. Do not take any other medicine including vitamins, calcium, antacids, or laxatives. Do not eat or drink anything (other than water). Along with taking Droniva Kit, maintain a healthy lifestyle, take a balanced diet, exercise (regular weight-bearing exercise) with your doctor's advice, and take proper measures to reduce the risk of falls. Let your doctor know if you're taking an iron supplement as the absorption rate might be affected. Inform your doctor if you have kidney problems or if you have ever had kidney stones.
