Dronis 30 Tablet is a combined oral contraceptive pill used to prevent pregnancy and treat irregular periods. It works by preventing the release of an egg (ovulation) and affecting sperm movement in the womb to prevent its union with the egg. Additionally, it changes the lining of the womb, making it unsuitable for pregnancy. While effective, it may cause side effects such as menstrual irregularities, and it is not recommended for use in certain populations, including those who are obese, over 35, smoke, or have a history of blood clots. It is important to take this medication as prescribed and consult a doctor if any severe symptoms occur.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush, or break it. Dronis 30 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

However, if you miss two or more doses, you may not be fully protected against pregnancy. In this case, start taking the tablet as soon as you remember and use a non-hormonal method of contraception, such as condoms, for at least the next 7 days to prevent pregnancy. Frequent missing of doses may lead to unexpected vaginal bleeding or spotting. Consult your doctor if this persists.
