Introduction

Doxryth CV 50mg/31.25mg Syrup is a combination of two medicines: Cefpodoxime Proxetil and Clavulanic Acid. It works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria. Clavulanic Acid is a beta-lactamase inhibitor that reduces resistance and enhances the activity of Cefpodoxime Proxetil against bacteria. Give this medicine to your child an hour before or two hours after meals. If your child develops a stomach upset, prefer giving it with food. Make sure to stick to the prescribed dose because it is given keeping in mind the type of infection, its severity, and the age and bodyweight of your child.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Doxryth CV 50mg/31.25mg Syrup may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
