Drotaverine is an anti-spasmodic medicine which relieves spasms associated with smooth muscles. Nimesulide is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling).

You have been prescribed Dotrasulide 40mg/100mg Tablet to get relief from abdominal pain. Dotrasulide 40mg/100mg Tablet should be taken with or straight after a meal or snack. This helps to reduce the risk of stomach upset. Stick to simple meals and avoid spicy rich food in order to avoid feeling sick (nausea). Drink plenty of water while taking Dotrasulide 40mg/100mg Tablet in case you experience diarrhea as its side-effect. Dry mouth may occur as a side effect. Frequent mouth rinses, good oral hygiene, increased water intake, and sugarless candy may help.
