Dorfort T Eye Drop is a combination of two medicines: Dorzolamide and Timolol. Dorzolamide is a carbonic anhydrase inhibitor and Timolol is a beta blocker. They work by decreasing the production of aqueous humour (fluid in the eye) thereby lowering the increased eye pressure.
Dorfort T Eye Drop helps lower high pressure in the eye and reduce the risk of vision loss. Remove contact lenses before using Dorfort T Eye Drop and wait at least 15 minutes before re-inserting them. Apply pressure on the corner of the eye (close to the nose) for about 1 minute immediately after putting the medication. Put one drop 2-3 times daily in the affected eye(s) for best results. Avoid contamination by not touching the dropper tip or letting it touch your eye or any other surface.
