Domnex O 10mg/10mg Capsule is a prescription medicine used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) by relieving symptoms such as heartburn, stomach pain, or irritation. It neutralizes stomach acid and promotes the easy passage of gas to reduce discomfort. The medicine is a combination of Domperidone and Omeprazole. Domperidone is a prokinetic that increases the movement of the stomach and intestines, allowing food to move more easily. Omeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that reduces stomach acid, helping to relieve acid-related indigestion and heartburn. While generally well-tolerated, long-term use can cause weak bones and mineral deficiencies. Consult your doctor if symptoms persist or worsen.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Domnex O 10mg/10mg Capsule is to be taken on an empty stomach, preferably one hour before a meal.

Inform your doctor if you do not feel better after taking it for 14 days as you may be suffering from some other problem that needs attention. Long-term use can cause weak bones and deficiency of minerals such as magnesium. Take adequate dietary intake of calcium and magnesium or their supplements as prescribed by your doctor.
