Diziwell Tablet MD is a combination medicine which should be taken with food to avoid stomach upset. Take this medicine as advised by your doctor and preferably at a fixed time each day. Do not skip any doses but if you miss a dose of this medicine, take it as soon as you remember. Finish the full course of treatment and never stop this medicine suddenly without talking to your doctor.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Do not handle the tablets with wet hands. Put it in your mouth but do not swallow it. Diziwell Tablet MD is to be taken with food.
Diziwell Tablet MD is a combination of two medicines: Cinnarizine and Dimenhydrinate. Cinnarizine is a calcium channel antagonist which works by preventing constriction of the blood vessels of the inner ear. This improves the microcirculation of the ear. Dimenhydrinate is an antiallergic. It blocks the action of a chemical messenger (histamine) that is responsible for light-headedness in vertigo.
Take it with food to avoid stomach upset. It may cause dizziness and sleepiness. Do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you. Do not drink alcohol while taking this medicine as it may cause increased sleepiness. Do not take this medicine if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not stop taking Diziwell Tablet MD without talking to your doctor first.
Yes, Diziwell Tablet MD can make you feel drowsy. Avoid driving, operating machinery, working at heights or participating in potentially dangerous activities until you know how this medicine affects you.
Diziwell Tablet MD may cause indigestion. However, taking it with or after food can prevent indigestion. If indigestion persists, talk to your doctor.
Diziwell Tablet MD is considered harmful for patients with hypersensitivity to the active substances, diphenhydramine or other antihistamines of similar structure, or to any of the excipients. Diziwell Tablet MD should be avoided in patients with glaucoma, fits, increased intracranial pressure, alcohol abuse, urinary issues, liver or kidney disease. It is also not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Seek immediate medical attention (visit the nearest emergency department) if you accidentally take too much Diziwell Tablet MD. Symptoms of an overdose may include tiredness, pupil dilation, inability to urinate, dry mouth, flushing, fast heart rate, sweating, headache, dizziness and shakiness.
If you miss a dose of Diziwell Tablet MD, simply skip the missed dose and take the next dose at its usual time and quantity. Do not take a double dose to compensate for a missed dose.
You should not stop taking Diziwell Tablet MD until your doctor advises you to do so. If you stop taking Diziwell Tablet MD earlier than advised, symptoms of vertigo may reappear (dizziness and spinning).
Store Diziwell Tablet MD in its original container or pack, tightly closed. Follow the storage instructions on the package label or as advised by your healthcare provider. Dispose of unused medication properly; ensure it is not accessible to pets, children, or others.
