Digeraft XT Oral Suspension Mint should be taken after meals or at bedtime in the dose and duration prescribed by your doctor. The dose will depend on the patient's condition and the response shown to the medicine. Keep taking it for as long as recommended by the doctor. If the treatment is stopped too early, the symptoms may come back and the condition may worsen. Let the doctor know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect or be affected by this medicine.

Digeraft XT Oral Suspension Mint is a combination of two medicines, alginic acid and potassium hydrogen carbonate. Alginic acid forms a protective foam layer that floats on top of the contents of the stomach. This prevents stomach acid from escaping into the food pipe. Potassium hydrogen carbonate neutralizes gastric acid.
Make sure you eat regular meals and drink plenty of water. Avoid spicy and fatty fried food. Lose weight if you are obese. If you are a smoker, consider giving up. Don't drink too much alcohol. Do not go to bed immediately after taking a meal. Sit in a relaxed position for some time for better digestion. Avoid soft drinks and citrus fruits like oranges and lemons which can irritate the stomach and increase acid secretion. Drink 6 to 8 glasses of water daily to help prevent constipation while taking this medicine.
